Nice to meet you, what a great topic. My random fact is I met my hubby on a blind date, Christmas day 1965 and we married in July 1967. People said it would never last but here we are, almost 51 years later, 2 children, 7 grandchildren and 3, almost 4 great grandchildren. Oh and hubby and I own our own business so we are together 24/7!

Hi Martha, nice to meet you too! A blind date on Christmas – I bet that doesn’t happen very often. Congratulations on your long and happy marriage. Obviously, the two of you get along really well. 🙂

Ha! Thanks for these – they were fun to read and some of them were eerily familiar. I also said I would never get married or have children – two marriages, 4 children and 16 grandchildren later – the love surrounds me!

Loved learning more about you! I, too, have danced the Macarena. And I also enjoy the Food Network & even collect recipes, but would rather go out to eat than cook the meal, myself. How amazing that you learned to design websites!

My favorite font right now is Princess Sofia. I use it quite often on Canva. Just remembered about your near-drowning. How could your friends, still completely dry, I assume, respond so calmly that they watched you nearly drown? Did you smack them?

“Mary Tyler Moore was my idol because I wanted to make it on my own and throw my hat in the air.” ~ Absolutely!!! When people honor her & get tearful about that show, I do, too.

I loved MaryTylerMoore on all her shows: I even won a MTM icon pin(which I still rock from time to time) from NICK At NITE in the 90s for scoring high on a test about the show.

I loved pink as a child, hated it in high school and college, and have re-embraced it.

Leslie, what a great list! I laughed a lot, especially over your cat having 6 websites. Actually, that would be the perfect way to practice, and then you could keep the best one for grins or as a sample. A random fact about me: I met my husband at a party I didn’t want to go to, about 28 years ago. Then he asked me out 10 years ago, and in 3 weeks we knew we were for each other. We married as soon as the accountants would let us and we are very happy! Thanks for a great post!

We do have some things in common. I’m also a night owl. I don’t know if horses hate me, but they sure don’t respect me. I liked Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm when I was a kid, but theme parks don’t appeal to me at all now. I love listening to the ocean and the sound of waves can put me to sleep, too.
